Five Answers about Forever Plaid

Five answers from Jonathan Cade Cascio:  Next month Cade will receive his B.A. in History from LSUA and is actively searching for a teaching position at a school in this area.  He was very active with the theatre program at LSUA, Family Playhouse, and appeared in the CPP production of the Wizard of OZ as the Cowardly Lion and he was in the last CPP show at the Bringhurst Little TheatreThe Boy Friend.

1.  Who do you play?

      Sparky- the Baritone of the group - Jinx's stepbrother

2.   Describe your character in 3 words.

       Corny.  Protective.  Tailored.

3. Favorite scene  -  the scene where we discuss our Spanish teacher and imagine singing to her.


Favorite line   -   " No one even noticed us die. We didn't even rate a plane crash like Buddy Holly or Patsy Cline. We were hit by a bunch of parochial virgins."

4. Through your character’s eyes, what is the play about?

    Forever Plaid is a second chance to fulfill our dreams, even if it is after death.

5. What do you hope audiences take away from the show?

     I hope audiences take away the thought that anything is possible, and one shouldn't let anything stand in the way of your dreams, even death.
