About the Cast of Grandmothers, Incorporated



Jamilla Bynog-Barnes  -- Bea Bell   -- Appearing for the first time on the CPP stage Jamilla Bynog is a native Alexandrian. She received her Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center and is now an Assistant District Attorney for the Parish of Rapides. She currently serves as President for the Krewe of RA and is an active board member for the Rapides Children’s Advocacy Center. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling abroad with her husband, Cooper.

Paula Ellis Miles  --  Hattie Collier  -- A native of Alexandria, Paula attended both ASH and Peabody. A graduate of Xavier University she then earned a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School. Now working as an Assistant Attorney General with the LA Department of Justice and happily married to Russell Miles, III, Paula is the proud parent of Jessica and Joshua. This is her acting debut as a City Park Player.

Ann Angelle -- Connie Palmer  -- A native of Carencro, Ann moved to Pineville about a year ago from Lafayette where she had been very active in community theatres in the area. She has 2 children, Aharon and Kortney, who are very supportive of her love of theatre. This is Ann’s first stage appearance in Central Louisiana but she looks forward to a future that includes City Park Players.

Rodessa Metoyer -- Ms. Fanny Collier  -- Rodessa is retired band director and a former member of the Rapides Parish School Board. She is an active musician with Central LA Arts & Health Care, she sings with Red River Chorale, and she is organist and cantor for St. James Catholic Church. She was a Sophisticated Lady and played clarinet in the CPP production of Ain’t Misbehavin’ in 2011 and was Juror # 9 earlier this year in Twelve Angry Jurors.
Chevron Harris, Fanny Collier, Hattie Collier, Bea Bell, Connie Palmer

Numa V. Metoyer,III -- Chevron Harris  -- Numa is an Assistant District Attorney with the Rapides D.A.’s Office where he runs a special victims unit for domestic violence. He also serves as City Attorney and Magistrate Judge for the Town of Colfax, as well as the City Prosecutor for the Town of Cheneyville. A graduate of Southern University Law School, he has served as a Board Member for Family Counseling Agency and Turning Point Battered Woman Shelter. He’s also a first time actor for CPP.


Bob Savage -- News Announcer (Voice-Over)
A relative newcomer to the stage, Bob worked backstage with CPP in 2011 and had roles in Spectral Sisters 10 Minute Play Festival and with Marksville’s Fox – Le Theater Les Bon Temps productions. Earlier this year he was Phil in Almost, Maine. As a “voice” in this play, Bob has stepped up his game by designing the lights as well as operating both light and sound.
